Bec + Blake (January 2014)

What better way to celebrate Australia Day than with a wedding? Well that's exactly what Bec + Blake thought too, only Australia Day also commemorated the day they had their first ever date. With the afternoon sun shining down, Bec + Blake said 'I do' in front of their closest family and friends overlooking the beach, before heading off to enjoy the rest of the warm summer's night. I will say, their reception entrance song was certainly one to remember and I'm sure set the party atmosphere for the rest of the night. Congratulations Bec + Blake, all the best to you for your future together. (Ceremony & reception: West Beach Sailing Club).

Chanel + Rocco (December 2013)

Being Adelaide and having Italian heritage meant the somewhere in my career I would photograph a couple's wedding who were somehow connected to me- Chanel + Rocco were that couple. Having photographed one of Rocco's groomsmen's wedding previously and with Rocco friends with my close friend's husband, I knew even before meeting the couple that not only were they going to be friendly and relaxed, but that their wedding would be an occasion to remember. How right I was! From the moment I arrived at the boy's house to the moment I left the reception, every aspect of the day was filled with love, laughter, and fun. Chanel + Rocco, along with their bridal party, made sure that no one was going to forget their wedding for a long time to come. From a very nervous groom (sorry Rocco) to a very sexy bride, it was an absolute honour to be able to capture the day, especially since I was working alongside Carl from I Do Cinema. Thank you Chanel + Rocco for being such a joy to work with, I truly wish you a lifetime together of happiness and love! (Ceremony: St Peter's Girls Chapel / Reception: Adelaide Town Hall).

Uniting Communities + Clayton Wesley Church Christmas Party

Not even the 40C heat could deter people from attending this magical Christmas Party. There was a host of activities outside from a petting zoo to face painting to keep everyone well entertained, but it was what was happening inside that was the real start of the show as volunteers handed out food hampers and toys to those less fortunate. The true spirit of Christmas was well alive thanks some very special people. (job: Uniting Communities + Clayton Wesley Church Christmas Party / client: uniting Communities South Australia)

Thu Anh + Paul (November 2013)

Whilst it's true that all weddings are filled with love, happiness & laughter, Thu Anh + Paul's wedding with filled with more than usual. From the moment I arrived for Paul's pre ceremony photos to the minute I left the reception there was this constant positive energy surrounding the couple. Mt Lofty House served as the perfect background for the day, allowing me to capture plenty of gorgeous photos of the bride and groom. This is certainly one wedding that I am very proud of. I can not thank Thu Anh, Paul, the bridal party and their respective families  enough for allowing me to be part of this special day. The angels were certainly looking down on you both. (Ceremony & reception: Mt Lofty House)

Jessie + Dan (November 2013)

From the moment I met Jessie + Dan I knew their wedding day would be nothing but laughter and fun, and sure enough they didn't disappoint. Set on the banks of the Murray River at Mannum, these two lovebirds exchanged vows in front of their closet family and friends, before turning the lawns of the Pretoria Hotel into a outdoor dance floor. Despite the near gail force winds, Jessie + Dan, along with their bridal party, ensured that every minute of the day was one that they would remember forever. They even gave me the best 'silly' bridal photo of my career so far. Thanks for an amazing Jessie + Dan, I wish you all the best as husband and wife (Ceremony & reception; Pretoria Hotel, Mannum).

Woolworths 'Berri Merry Christmas'

The Christmas spirit was certainly in full mode at the annual 'Berri Merry Christmas' event. Held in the beautiful town of Berri in South Australia's Riverland region, Woolworths was present at the event encouraging people to support local produce and manufactures. Handing out South Australian apples and oranges, as well as SA made and owned Balfours cakes, it was great to see the Woolworths staff push the importance of supporting local communities - the locals didn't mind a few freebies either!  (job: Berri Merry Christmas / client: BEcause PR Sydney, for Woolworths Australia)

Kellie + Darren (September 2013)

The sun was shining when Kellie and Darren married on a beautiful Saturday in September. Set amongst a magical garden, Kellie and Darren said 'I do' in front of their family and friends, before continuing the celebrations well into the night. Filled with love, happiness, laughter and joy the couple couldn't have asked for a better day- not even Kellie's broken arm could dampen the mood! After spending much time with this couple, I know that their life together with their children will be a longer and happy one. Congratulations again on your wedding Kellie and Darren! (Ceremony: Lyndoch Hill, Barossa Valley / Reception: Mawson Lakes Hotel & Function Centre)

Nadezda + Brenton (September 2013)

This beautiful & intimate affair was the perfect setting to this wedding. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Nadezda (Nadia) and Brenton said 'I do' before celebrating with a low-key reception. With their respective children by their sides, Nadezda and Brenton began their lives as husband and wife in the most perfect and personal way. Best wishes for their future together. (Ceremony: Adelaide Wedding Chapel / Reception: The Watershed Function Centre)

Bettina + Michael (June 2013)

Not even the temperamental weather could dampen the spirits of this gorgeous couple. Combining traditions of an Irish Catholic ceremony with old Hollywood glamour, Bettina and Michael's wedding ensured everyone was left with a smile on their face thanks to their fun-loving attitudes. It was such a pleasure to be part of this special day and I wish Bettina & Michael all the best in their lives together as husband and wife. (Ceremony: Sacred Heart Chapel, Brighton / Reception: Sebel Playford, Adelaide)
