The Christmas spirit was certainly in full mode at the annual 'Berri Merry Christmas' event. Held in the beautiful town of Berri in South Australia's Riverland region, Woolworths was present at the event encouraging people to support local produce and manufactures. Handing out South Australian apples and oranges, as well as SA made and owned Balfours cakes, it was great to see the Woolworths staff push the importance of supporting local communities - the locals didn't mind a few freebies either!
